Namecheap DNS Guide

Follow these steps if your domain’s nameservers are set to Namecheap’s default. If you use custom nameservers elsewhere, replicate these records in that panel.

1. Log into Namecheap

1. Go to https://www.namecheap.com and sign in.
2. Click Account → Domain List from the left menu.
3. Find your domain and click Manage on the right.

2. Switch to Namecheap DNS

1. Under the Domain tab, ensure “Nameservers” is set to Namecheap BasicDNS.
2. Click the Advanced DNS tab at the top.

3. Add WaxForward Records

1. Scroll to Host Records and click Add New Record.

2. MX Record

   • Type: MX
   • Host: @
   • Value: mx.waxforward.com
   • Priority: 10
   • TTL: Automatic
   • Click ✅ to save.

3. SPF TXT Record

   • Click Add New Record.
   • Type: TXT
   • Host: @
   • Value: v=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all
   • TTL: Automatic
   • Click ✅ to save.

4. DKIM CNAME (repeat 3×)

   • Click Add New Record.
   • Type: CNAME
   • Host: dkim1._domainkey
   • Value: dkim1.waxforward.com
   • TTL: Automatic
   • Click ✅ to save.

   Repeat for dkim2._domainkey → dkim2.waxforward.com and dkim3._domainkey → dkim3.waxforward.com.

4. Save and Verify

1. Wait 5–10 minutes for propagation.
2. In your WaxForward Dashboard, go to Domains → Pending Verification → Check Now.
3. The domain shows Active once verification completes.
