Connect your Namecheap domain to WaxForward
Onboarding
Connect your Namecheap domain to WaxForward in five simple steps.
1. Add your domain in WaxForward
- In your WaxForward dashboard, click “Add Domain”.
- You can enter:
- A full domain, like
example.com
- Or a subdomain, like
mail.example.com
- A full domain, like
- Once added, WaxForward will generate the DNS records you need to configure:
- MX – for receiving emails
- TXT – for domain verification and SPF
- TXT –for DKIM authentication
- MAIL FROM – for bounce handling
2. Open Namecheap DNS settings
- Log in at namecheap.com.
- Go to Dashboard → Domain List.
- Click Manage next to your domain.
- Open the Advanced DNS tab.
3. Add the required DNS records
Copy the records exactly as shown in your WaxForward dashboard.

Host format
Only use the prefix (@
, mail
, etc.).
Do not include the full domain, such as mail.example.com
, in the Host field.
4. Verify DNS records in WaxForward
- Return to your WaxForward dashboard.
- Click “I’ve added the records” to start verification.
- WaxForward will check each DNS record and display its status.
- If some records appear as Pending, they will continue to be monitored automatically.
- You can click Refresh every 30 seconds to recheck their status.
- If you’re confident the records were added correctly, but they still show as Pending, you can skip them and WaxForward will continue verifying in the background.
5. Finish setup
Once all records show Success, your domain will be marked as Active.
You can now:
- Create aliases like
team@yourdomain.com
- Send and receive emails through WaxForward
